In this section we feature a number of recent restoration projects, some now completed others ongoing.
1929 Humber
 
Currently being renovated is the 1929 Humber 350 ohc model (above). The engine is being rebuilt by John Kidson, BMCT Trustee, at his workshops in Stroud. The camshaft and followers were badly worn and have had to be re-profiled, and the magneto has been rebuilt. Here John is seen cleaning the parts (below right) ready for assembly.

AJS S3
The AJS S3 is now finished and on display at the Black Country Museum. Here are some photos of the work in progress.

 New mudguards and seat have been made

 Many parts have had to be cast from patterns
 The top end is stripped, new pistons and valves are fitted
